Here there are brief but intense tropical rain showers, mainly in the late afternoon and evenings. It’s a good time for self-drive 4×4 adventures, with opportunities to see baby animals and migratory birds.

Shoulder Season – June, January, February, and March

The rainy season is mostly over, with occasional light showers. The weather is pleasant, with warm sunny days and cool nights. It’s a great time for 4×4 travel, with fewer tourists around.

High (Dry) Season – July, August, September, and October
