Before planning your trip, it’s essential to be aware of the visa requirements for entering Kenya. Visitors from various European countries, certain Asian and American nations, must obtain the eVisa via the Kenya Electronic Visa Application System. This eVisa is mandatory for entry into the country.

To ensure a smooth travel experience, it is crucial to apply for your eVisa well in advance. The application process may be intricate, so we recommend submitting your request as early as possible, but at least two weeks before your intended departure date.

Please be aware that boarding your flight at the departure airport will be denied if you cannot show a valid eVisa. Kenya does not offer visa-on-arrival services at airports; so you need to have your eVisa beforehand.

The costs for a single entry tourist eVisa, valid for 90 days is USD 51 (approximately €42).

It is important to note that these fees are subject to change. Check the official government website for the most up-to-date information.

Please note that for your visa application you will need a:
– Scan of confirmation voucher of your place of stay (iDrive4x4 can arrange this for you)

– Passport scan (front and back of ID page) and passport photo

The above documents should be uploaded in JPEG formats no bigger than 293 kb.
